Henna Mandala to color for Mind spaces and mental respite

Hope you enjoy the free Feb mandala templates in henna, to fill with color. Make sure to use quality pencils, texters, crayons or even water colors. Once colored these are perfect to stick up in a mediation space or even mod podge/wrap notebooks in (I’m going to use these on hardcover books/diary’s that I’m making at some point – am even considering mod podging chests of drawers with theses).  It’s good to put a mandala up in a space that you work in even, once colored they can even be scanned to use desktop wallpapers. The design of the mandala is supposed to be visually appealing so use the colors that you’re currently drawn to (More tips on color and how to use Mandala’s as a meditation tool later on). Take an occasional visual break throughout the day with one, as to absorb the mind in such a way that irritating thoughts are unable to get through in that time. This in turn allows a higher consciousness or awareness, not unlike hypnotism - allow the creative mind is allowed to run free whilst switching off the busy for a time. Mandalas are circular designs symbolizing the notion that life is never ending and some have spiritual significance. The mandala appears to us in all aspects of life, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and more obviously the circles of life encompassing others. From Chapter ‘Mandala’ (Link)
